THE SECOND LETTER TO THE THESSALONIANS
Chapter 1
1 Shaul and Silvanus and Timothy to the assembly of the Thessalonians in G-d our Father and the Master Yeshua the Messiah: 2 Grace to you and peace from G-d the Father and the Master Yeshua the Messiah. 3 We ought always to give thanks to G-d for you, brothers, as is fitting, because your faith is growing abundantly and the love of each one of you all toward one another is increasing, 4 so that we ourselves boast of you among the assemblies of G-d for your steadfastness and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions which you are enduring. 5 This is a plain indication of G-d’s righteous judgment, that you may be considered worthy of the Kingdom of G-d, for which indeed you are suffering. 6 For after all it is just for G-d to repay with affliction those who afflict you, 7 and to give relief to you who are afflicted and to us as well, when the Master Yeshua will be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire, 8 dealing out retribution to those who do not know G-d and to those who do not obey the Good News of our Master Yeshua. 9 These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the L-rd and from the glory of His power, 10 when He comes to be glorified in His holy ones on that day, and to be marveled at among all who have believed—because our testimony to you was believed. 11 To this end also we pray for you always, that our G-d will count you worthy of your calling and will fulfill every desire for goodness and the work of faith with power, 12 so that the name of our Master Yeshua will be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our G-d and the Master Yeshua the Messiah.
Chapter 2
1 Now we request you, brothers, with regard to the coming of our Master Yeshua the Messiah and our gathering together to him, 2 that you not be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the L-rd has come. 3 Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed—the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he sits in the Temple of G-d, displaying himself as being G-d. 5 Do you not remember that while I was still with you, I was telling you these things? 6 And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. 8 Then that lawless one will be revealed, whom the Master will slay with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming— 9 the one whose coming is in accord with the working of the Adversary, with all power and signs and false wonders, 10 and with all the deception of wickedness for those who are perishing, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. 11 For this reason G-d will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, 12 in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth but took pleasure in wickedness.

13 But we should always give thanks to G-d for you, brothers beloved by the L-rd, because G-d has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faithfulness to the truth. 14 It was for this purpose that He called you through our Good News, that you may gain the glory of our Master Yeshua the Messiah. 15 So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught, whether by word of mouth or by letter from us. 16 Now may our Master Yeshua the Messiah himself and G-d our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope by grace, 17 comfort and strengthen your hearts in every good work and word.
Chapter 3
1 Finally, brothers, pray for us that the word of the L-rd will spread rapidly and be glorified, just as it did also with you; 2 and that we will be rescued from perverse and evil men; for not all have faith. 3 But the L-rd is faithful, and He will strengthen and guard you from the evil one. 4 We have confidence in the L-rd concerning you, that you are doing and will continue to do what we command. 5 May the L-rd direct your hearts into the love of G-d and into the steadfastness of the Messiah. 6 Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Master Yeshua the Messiah, that you keep away from every brother who walks in a disorderly manner and not according to the tradition which you received from us. 7 For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example, because we did not act in an undisciplined manner among you, 8 nor did we eat anyone’s bread without paying for it, but with labor and hardship we kept working night and day so that we would not be a burden to any of you; 9 not because we do not have the right to this, but in order to offer ourselves as a model for you, so that you would follow our example. 10 For even when we were with you, we used to give you this order: if anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat either. 11 For we hear that some among you are walking in a disorderly manner, doing no work at all but acting like busybodies. 12 Now such persons we command and exhort in the Master Yeshua the Messiah to work in a quiet manner and eat their own bread. 13 But as for you, brothers, do not grow weary of doing good. 14 If anyone does not obey our instruction in this letter, take special note of that person and do not associate with him, so that he will be put to shame. 15 Yet do not regard him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother. 16 Now may the L-rd of peace Himself continually grant you peace in every circumstance. The L-rd be with you all. 17 The greeting is with my own hand—of Shaul—which is a distinguishing mark in every letter; this is the way I write. 18 The grace of our Master Yeshua the Messiah be with you all.

THE FIRST LETTER TO TIMOTHY
Chapter 1
1 Shaul, a shaliach of Messiah Yeshua according to the commandment of G-d our Savior and of Messiah Yeshua our hope, 2 to Timothy, my true child in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from G-d the Father and Messiah Yeshua our Master. 3 As I urged you when I was going to Macedonia, remain at Ephesus so that you may instruct certain ones not to teach strange doctrines, 4 nor to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies, which give rise to mere speculation rather than the stewardship of G-d which is in faithfulness. 5 But the goal of the commandment is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and sincere faithfulness. 6 From which some, having deviated, have turned aside to empty talk, 7 desiring to be teachers of Torah, though they understand neither what they are saying nor the things about which they make confident assertions. 8 But we know that Torah is good, if one uses it lawfully, 9 knowing this: that law is not laid down for a righteous man, but for the lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike fathers and strike mothers, for murderers, 10 for the sexually immoral, for men who lie with males, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to sound teaching— 11 according to the Good News of the glory of the blessed G-d, with which I have been entrusted. 12 I give thanks to Messiah Yeshua our Master, who has strengthened me, because he considered me faithful, appointing me to his service, 13 even though I was formerly a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent aggressor. Yet I was shown mercy because I acted ignorantly in unbelief; 14 and the grace of our Master was more than abundant, with the faithfulness and love which are in Messiah Yeshua. 15 It is a trustworthy saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Messiah Yeshua came into the world to save sinners—among whom I am foremost. 16 Yet for this reason I was shown mercy, so that in me as the foremost, Messiah Yeshua might demonstrate his perfect patience as an example for those who would believe in him for eternal life. 17 Now to the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only G-d, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. 18 This commandment I entrust to you, Timothy my child, in accordance with the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you fight the good fight, 19 keeping faithfulness and a good conscience, which some have rejected and suffered shipwreck with regard to their faith. 20 Among these are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have handed over to the Adversary so that they will be taught not to blaspheme.

Chapter 2
1 First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers and petitions and thanksgivings be made on behalf of all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. 3 This is good and acceptable in the sight of G-d our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one G-d, and one mediator also between G-d and men—the man Messiah Yeshua, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all—the testimony given at the proper time. 7 For this I was appointed a proclaimer and an emissary—I am telling the truth, I am not lying—a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth. 8 Therefore I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands without wrath and dissension. 9 Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly—not with braided hair and gold or pearls or expensive garments— 10 but rather by means of good works, as is proper for women making a claim to godliness. 11 A woman must receive instruction with entire submissiveness. 12 But I do not allow a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet. 13 For it was Adam who was first created, and then Chavah. 14 And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. 15 But she will be preserved through the bearing of children—if they continue in faith and love and holiness with self-restraint.
Chapter 3
1 It is a trustworthy saying: if any man aspires to the office of overseer, it is a fine work he desires to do. 2 An overseer, then, must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, prudent, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, 3 not addicted to wine or prone to violence, but gentle, peaceable, free from the love of money. 4 He must be one who manages his own household well, keeping his children under control with all dignity— 5 but if a man does not know how to manage his own household, how will he take care of the assembly of G-d? 6 And not a new convert, so that he will not become conceited and fall into the condemnation incurred by the Adversary. 7 And he must have a good reputation with those outside, so that he will not fall into reproach and the snare of the Adversary.
Friday (6):
1 Timothy 3:8 → 1 Timothy 4:11 (20)
8 Servants likewise must be men of dignity, not double-tongued, not addicted to much wine, not fond of sordid gain, 9 but holding to the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience. 10 These men must also first be tested; then let them serve as servants if they are beyond reproach. 11 Women must likewise be dignified, not malicious gossips, but temperate, faithful in all things. 12 Servants must be husbands of only one wife and good managers of their children and their own households. 13 For those who have served well as servants obtain for themselves a high standing and great confidence in the faith that is in Messiah Yeshua. 14 I am writing these things to you, hoping to come to you before long; 15 but in case I am delayed, I write so that you will know how one ought to conduct himself in the household of G-d, which is the assembly of the living G-d—the pillar and support of the truth. 16 By common confession, great is the mystery of godliness: he who was revealed in the flesh was vindicated in the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.
Chapter 4
1 But the Spirit explicitly says that in the later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron, 3 forbidding marriage and commanding abstinence from foods which G-d has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth. 4 For everything created by G-d is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving; 5 for it is sanctified by means of the word of G-d and prayer. 6 In pointing out these things to the brothers, you will be a good servant of Messiah Yeshua, constantly nourished on the words of the faith and of the sound doctrine which you have been following. 7 But have nothing to do with worldly fables fit only for old women. On the other hand, discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness, 8 for bodily discipline is only of little profit, but godliness is profitable for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. 9 It is a trustworthy saying deserving full acceptance. 10 For it is for this we labor and strive, because we have fixed our hope on the living G-d, who is the Savior of all men, especially of believers. 11 Prescribe and teach these things.

12 Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faithfulness, and purity show yourself an example of those who believe. 13 Until I come, give attention to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, and to teaching. 14 Do not neglect the spiritual gift within you, which was bestowed on you through prophetic utterance with the laying on of hands by the council of elders. 15 Take pains with these things; be absorbed in them, so that your progress will be evident to all. 16 Pay close attention to yourself and to your teaching; persevere in these things, for as you do this you will ensure salvation both for yourself and for those who hear you.
Chapter 5
1 Do not sharply rebuke an older man, but rather appeal to him as a father, to the younger men as brothers, 2 the older women as mothers, and the younger women as sisters, in all purity. 3 Honor widows who are widows indeed; 4 but if any widow has children or grandchildren, they must first learn to practice piety in regard to their own family and to make some return to their parents; for this is acceptable in the sight of G-d. 5 Now she who is a widow indeed and who has been left alone has fixed her hope on G-d and continues in supplications and prayers night and day. 6 But she who gives herself to wanton pleasure is dead even while she lives. 7 Prescribe these things as well, so that they may be above reproach. 8 But if anyone does not provide for his own—and especially for those of his own household—he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. 9 A widow is to be put on the list only if she is not less than sixty years old, having been the wife of one man, 10 having a reputation for good works; and if she has brought up children, if she has shown hospitality to strangers, if she has washed the saints’ feet, if she has assisted those in distress, and if she has devoted herself to every good work. 11 But refuse to put younger widows on the list, for when they feel sensual desires in disregard of the Messiah, they want to get married, 12 thus incurring condemnation because they have set aside their previous pledge. 13 At the same time they also learn to be idle, as they go around from house to house; and not merely idle, but also gossips and busybodies, talking about things not proper to mention. 14 Therefore, I want younger widows to get married, bear children, keep house, and give the enemy no occasion for reproach; 15 for some have already turned aside to follow the Adversary. 16 If any woman who is a believer has dependent widows, she must assist them and the assembly must not be burdened, so that it may assist those who are widows indeed.
