בס״ד
“But take careful heed to do the commandment and the Law which Moses the servant of the L-RD commanded you, to love the L-RD your G-D, to walk in all HIS ways, to keep HIS commandments, to hold fast to HIM, and to serve HIM with all your heart and with all your soul.”
-Joshua 22:4-6
I’m being very precise in my wording when I write that it is ‘Christianity Vs…’ as opposed to ‘Christians Vs…’ G-D alone is the judge of every person’s heart and motivations, so in no way am I accusing or condemning any individual Christian. Rather, I am refuting the man-made religion, traditions, and doctrines of Christianity, whether Protestant, Orthodox, or Catholic, which I believe clearly contradict Scripture and the truth.
Christianity:
“We know and love God, but we don’t have to keep the commandments of His Law because Jesus died for our sins.”
1 John:
“Now by this we know that we know HIM, if we keep HIS commandments. He who says, “I know HIM,” and does not keep HIS commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps HIS word, truly the love of G-D is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in HIM.”
-1 John 2:3-5
Christianity:
“We shouldn’t sin, but even if we do, we don’t need to keep the Law because Jesus died for our sins. We abide in God and/or Jesus only by faith and grace, not by keeping God’s commandments.”
1 John:
“Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. And you know that he was manifested to take away our sins, and in him there is no sin. Whoever abides in him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen him nor known him… Now he who keeps HIS commandments abides in HIM, and HE in him.”
-1 John 3:4-6, 24a
Christianity:
“Jesus died for our sins, so we are free from the burden and bondage of God’s Law and its commandments. We can love God and His children without having to keep the commandments of God’s Law.”
1 John:
“By this we know that we love the children of G-D, when we love G-D and keep HIS commandments. For this is the love of G-D, that we keep HIS commandments. And HIS commandments are not burdensome.”
-1 John 5:2-3
“Surely, this commandment that I am commanding you today is not too hard for you, nor is it too far away… No, the word is very near to you; it is in your mouth and in your heart for you to observe. See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, in that I command you today to love the L-RD your G-D, to walk in HIS ways, and to keep HIS commandments, HIS statutes, and HIS judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the L-RD your G-D will bless you…”
-Deuteronomy 30:11, 14-16a
