4 I give thanks to my G-d always concerning you, for the grace of G-d which was given to you in Messiah Yeshua, 5 that in every way you were enriched in him, in all speech and in all knowledge, 6 just as the testimony of the Messiah was confirmed in you, 7 so that you lack in no gracious gift, awaiting the revelation of our Master Yeshua the Messiah, 8 who will also confirm you unto the end, blameless in the Day of our Master Yeshua the Messiah. 9 Faithful is G-d, through whom you were called into the fellowship of his son Yeshua the Messiah our Master.

10 Now I exhort you, brothers, through the name of our Master Yeshua the Messiah, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. 11 For it has been declared to me concerning you, my brothers, by those of Chloe, that there are strifes among you. 12 Now I say this, that each of you is saying: “I am of Paul,” and “I of Apollos,” and “I of Kefa,” and “I of Messiah.” 13 Has the Messiah been divided? Was Paul crucified for you, or were you immersed into the name of Paul? 14 I give thanks to G-d that I immersed none of you except Crispus and Gaius, 15 that no one should say that you were immersed into my name. 16 And I also immersed the household of Stephanas. Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Did not G-d make foolish the wisdom of the world? 21 For since, in the wisdom of G-d, the world through its wisdom did not know G-d, G-d was well-pleased through the foolishness of the proclamation to save those who believe. 22 For Jews ask for signs, and Greeks seek wisdom; 23 but we proclaim Messiah crucified—to Jews a stumbling block, and to the nations foolishness;

6 Yet we speak wisdom among the mature, but a wisdom not of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are being brought to nothing; 7 but we speak the wisdom of G-d in a mystery—the hidden wisdom—which G-d predestined before the ages unto our glory,

1 And I, brothers, was not able to speak to you as to spiritual ones, but as to fleshly ones, as to infants in Messiah. 2 I fed you with milk, not with solid food, for you were not yet able. And even now you are not yet able, 3 for you are still fleshly. For where there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly and walking according to man? 4 For when one says, “I am of Paul,” and another, “I am of Apollos,” are you not merely men?

Chapter 4
1 So let a man reckon us, as servants of Messiah and stewards of the mysteries of G-d. 2 Here, moreover, it is required of stewards that one be found faithful. 3 But to me it is a very small thing that I should be examined by you, or by a human day; indeed, I do not even examine myself. 4 For I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not justified by this; the One who examines me is the L-rd. 5 Therefore judge nothing before the proper time, until the Master comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts; and then each one’s praise will come to him from G-d.
6 Now these things, brothers, I have applied figuratively to myself and Apollos for your sake, that in us you might learn the principle: “Not beyond what has been written”—that none of you may be puffed up for the one against the other. 7 For who makes you to differ? And what do you have that you did not receive? But if you also received it, why do you boast as though you had not received? 8 You are already filled; you have already become rich; you have reigned without us. And how I wish that you had reigned, that we also might reign with you! 9 For I think that G-d has displayed us, the Shluchim, as last, as appointed to death; for we have become a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to men. 10 We are fools for Messiah’s sake, but you are wise in Messiah. We are weak, but you are strong. You are honored, but we are dishonored. 11 Up to the present hour we both hunger and thirst and are naked and are beaten and are homeless; 12 and we labor, working with our own hands. Being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we endure; 13 being defamed, we entreat. We have become as the refuse of the world, the offscouring of all things, until now.

The unique Name [of G-d] is what stirs to lift him from the dunghill of the chitsonim (external forces), to make it full and abundant. And “to seat him with nobles,” who are the Patriarchs, with whom the Shekhinah (Divine Presence) is united, and Yesod with her.”
