The Hebrew word for ‘year’ (‘Shanah’), has the exact same Gematria as the number of days in what’s called a ‘perfect year’ – 355.
שנה = 355
“The rules of postponement of Rosh HaShanah make it that a Jewish common year will have 353, 354, or 355 days while a leap year (with the addition of Adar I which always has 30 days) has 383, 384, or 385 days.“
In Hebrew, a leap year is called, ‘a pregnant year’ and it has an extra month. It is thought that this type of year is especially related to redemption and the coming of Moshiach, which is likened to the birth of a child.
Incredibly, after what’s called a ‘perfect’ and ‘pregnant’ year, Rosh HaShanah is exactly the 386th day from the previous Rosh HaShanah. 386 is the Gematria of, ‘Yeshua’ (and, ‘David Ben Yishai’). Any wonder then that Rosh HaShanah marks exactly ‘the Sixth Day’ of Creation, which has exactly the Gematria of ‘Yeshu(a) of Nazareth.’
״יום הששי = ישו הנצרי = 671״
-Rabbi Abraham Abulafia, Mafteach HaChochamot, Noach, p. 64
In a non-leap, ‘perfect year,’ the last day of the year and day before Rosh HaShanah (the fifth day of Creation) is the 355th, which is also exactly the Gematria of, ‘the Nazarene.’ ‘Fifth day’ is the Gematria of ‘Messiah son of David.’
It is said that every new year in which we don’t bring the Messiah, we have to fast after Rosh HaShanah, on Tzom (the Fast of) Gedaliah. The murder of the leader from the Davidic Tribe of Yehuda, Gedaliah, at the hands of his very own people is mourned every year with fasting. “Concerning this fast day, the Rabbis have said that its aim is to establish that the death of the righteous is likened to the burning of the house of our G-d… According to some opinions, Gedaliah stemmed from the House of David and was the last member of that royal family who commanded authority over Eretz Yisrael.”
It is as though, G-d forbid, we are mourning the ‘murder,’ both spiritually and physically, of the Moshiach every new year that he doesn’t come (May he come immediately, with G-d’s help!). Now we can understand why Tzom Gedaliah occurs on the 358th day, the Gematria of ‘Moshiach’ (‘Messiah’). This matches to the Eighth Day from Creation, which also has great messianic significance associated with Circumcision, Simchat Torah, Chanukkah, etc.
In a ‘regular year’ of 354/384 days, the first day of Rosh HaShanah has the Gematria of ‘Shechinah’ and the last day of the year has the Gematria of ‘the Messiah of the L-rd,’ a common Biblical phrase denoting G-d’s anointed king. The second day of Rosh HaShanah corresponds to the Gematria of ‘Yeshua.’ This day marks ‘the Seventh day’ (of Creation and the first ever Shabbat), which has the exact Gematria of, ‘the King Messiah.’ ‘Shabbat’ itself has the same Gematria as the symmetric spelling of ‘Yeshu\a/uhseY,’ representing mainly his First Coming and the ‘Third (or All-Seeing) Eye,’ as taught by Ariel Cohen Alloro.
These and other incredible mysteries can be discovered in the tables above and below…
